There are three types of Alopecia Areata (Hair Loss): Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, and Alopecia Universalis. We have been able to restore hair in all forms.
Each year, more than 10,000 Americans die of skin cancer. Effective, thorough screening could prevent almost every skin cancer death.
Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) is one of the most common skin conditions causing itchy, flaky patches. Even the most severe cases can be brought under control.

Welcome To The Dr. Shore Medical And Cosmetic Dermatology Group

For most, a dermatologist is someone who treats rashes, acne, and rosacea; they do skin exams to check for questionable moles and can help with issues such as thinning hair, to name a few. It is recommended you first make sure they are Board Certified. Then it’s a good idea to look at their bios, testimonials, services offered, and accolades. Finally, schedule a consultation.

The Reason Behind Our Success

Dr. Shore, who excelled academically (see bio in “About” section), was able to attend leading medical (Johns Hopkins) and dermatological (University of Pennsylvania) post-graduate programs, and learn from leaders in their fields.  His desire to provide the best care available has resulted in him developing new treatments and products, and being sought out by drug companies such as Johnson and Johnson, and organizations such as NASA.

Eczema is a word that literally means “irritated skin,” and can be used to denote temporary or persistent conditions. For some people, though, eczema becomes a chronic condition that requires medical management by a dermatologist.
