This is a common skin condition that shows up most commonly at or shortly after puberty. Changes in hormones frequently are the leading cause, but many other factors can contribute to its presence or severity. The good news is that now acne can be treated very effectively whatever its severity.
What is Rosacea?
This condition, which can mimic acne and is often called Acne Rosacea, usually occurs in middle aged adults, but may occur in teenagers or older adults. Redness of the face is usually evident, and there may be “pimple-like”
spots. A high percentage of the cases treated in our practice not only improve, but achieve total clearing.
